We are currently interviewing for the following paid positions:

Kennel Worker:  Qualified candidate must be 21 years or older and experienced handling large breed dogs and cats.  Job includes kennel cleaning, housekeeping, dog walking and cat care.  Requires constant interaction with the animals as well as exposure to the elements.  Candidate must be in good physical condition, as this position requires continuous physical activity, lifting, bending, and cleaning.  We are willing to train the right person, but are looking for someone responsible and reliable and who is both self-motivated and team oriented.  Position is part-time, with the possibility of expanding to full-time. 

Receptionist / Administrative Support:   Our shelter is seeking a highly-qualified candidate for this integral position. Responsibilities include:

• Answering the phone
• Greeting customers
• Administrative Functions (filing, organizing, data entry)
• Application Processing
• Managing busy calendar for multiple departments

Adoption Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated full time adoption specialist who can help us acheive our goal of placing all of our Dogs and cats into loving homes. Experience prefered, but we will train the right person if you have related experience. Responsibilities include; Application processing, interviewing applicants, reference checks, and scheduling appointments.This is a full time position and a rewarding career for some one who is goal oriented.
